STEM School Support
Education specialists use the STEM Theory of Action to support school leaders in analyzing the existing state of STEM instruction in their school or district and design customized on-site and virtual learning experiences tailored to move toward the school or district’s desired state for STEM instruction. Support services are offered in the following areas:
Administrators describe their customized STEM School Support in the area of Leadership.
AdvancED STEM Certification Support
Schools and districts are assisted in planning for, documenting, and achieving STEM Certification.
Strategic Leadership Support
Leadership teams are provided with tools, resources and facilitation for implementing, assessing and supporting STEM in their schools and districts.
Teachers and/or curriculum leaders at a school are given resources, processes and support to improve STEM instruction in the classroom.
Project-based (PBL) and Problem-based (PrBL) Learning
Teachers are provided with the resources, strategies and support to plan and implement STEM-based project- and problem-based learning in their classrooms.
Lab Design, Implementation and Support
Schools and districts are provided the planning and support needed to design and implement STEM labs that integrate academic standards as well as assist classroom teachers with innovative teaching and learning.
