iSTEM is an instructional leadership experience for science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) interested educators preparing to understand and implement engineering practices as identified in national and state standards documents.
iSTEM is appropriate for elementary, middle, high school, and district leadership teams. Composition of leadership teams MUST include a district level or school-based instructional leader, classroom teachers and may include guidance/career counselors and/or afterschool instruction providers. Leadership teams may represent a district, a collaboration of more than one school or a single school. Teams of at least five members are preferred but not required.

The iSTEM Innovation Program is designed and facilitated by SCCMS/S2TEM Centers SC and partners with business and industry leaders and engineers; it is supported by the SC General Assembly.
