Anu Meacham joined S²TEM Centers SC as an Education Specialist in 2022, bringing a strong background in both education and program administration dedicated to advancing student pathways in STEM. She has served in various roles at Northeastern University, Simmons University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked to build and strengthen the STEM pipeline. She coordinated the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation and directed the Upward Bound Math and Science programs, supporting student success through structured enrichment. During her tenure at Mass Bay Community College, she taught mathematics and developed summer math programs to help students prepare for college math. Anu’s professional expertise includes promoting growth mindset practices in the classroom and implementing strategies to reduce the effects of math anxiety, ensuring students gain confidence and a positive outlook toward learning.
