Supporting Teachers in Remote Learning and Instruction
Demonstrating best practices in online instruction equips teachers with the skills and confidence to be successful in either remote or hybrid teaching environments.
Our ready-made sessions are customizable to meet the needs and skill level of your teachers. Our most popular sessions are:
Teaching in a Virtual World
Help your teachers prepare to meet the expectations of the SCTS 4.0 in a remote environment with Best Practices for Remote Teaching and Learning sessions for each grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). Participants engage as students, learn the back-end or teacher side of the tool, along with tips or tricks for use, and plan for implementation in their classroom. These sessions can be general or content-focused.
Coaching in a Virtual World
After receiving training on remote instruction, participants need continued support as they practice new tools and try new techniques. Schedule periodic support sessions for your teachers to refine their skills, introduce new tools, or assist with online lesson development.
We can help you design a training package that's right for your teachers and deliver professional development either in person or virtually, depending on your preference.
Contact your Regional Office for more information or to set up an appointment to discuss.
This training was phenomenal. Our participants walked away with new tools to improve their virtual teaching environments.
Our teachers were able to leave the sessions with practical and helpful virtual learning lessons to engage their students in a virtual learning experience. Our teachers have raved about the lessons! They want more!!!
