Topic Introduction to Disciplinary Literacy (3 hours)

Description
In this three hour session, participants will develop a shared vision of STEM instruction enhanced by disciplinary literacy and understand data that supports the need for disciplinary literacy enhanced STEM instruction. In addition, they will experience a lesson that incorporates purposeful reading, meaningful writing, and productive dialogue as part of STEM instruction.
