Dustin Lengning joined S²TEM Centers SC in 2022 as an Education Specialist for the Western region.  In this role, he supports teacher growth through coaching and delivering professional development which is individually suited for the educators it is presented to.  

Prior to becoming part of the S²TEM Centers team, Dustin was a classroom educator in Southern California at a Project-Based Learning Charter School .  Working as a facilitator for the last 15 years, Dustin found a passion in helping fellow educators. This new-found passion drove him all the way to South Carolina with his family of 5. 

Throughout his years in education, Dustin has been involved in many amazing programs and projects, most notably the NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassador Program which allowed Dustin to be part of an exclusive community of educators around the country helping bring real science into the classroom. 

Dustin's passion for Project-Based Learning and creating lifelong learning experiences inside the STEM classrooms will always be at the forefront of his pedagogy as an educator.  He is very excited to be a part of this amazing community of educators.
