Elena Stout, Education Specialist

​Elena Stout joined the S2tem Centers SC in 2023 as an Education Specialist. Prior to joining the team, Elena served as the Curriculum Lead and Enrichment Teacher for a startup edtech company to provide online classes and support for homeschooled students in PreK-5th grade. She oversaw the development of standard aligned math and literacy resources in addition to designing and teaching virtual science and agriculture literacy classes. 

Also serving as a 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for five years, she developed, delivered, and evaluated multiple school enrichment, afterschool, and summer camp programs focusing on science and agriculture literacy. 

Elena received a Master of Science degree in Animal Science and a second Master of Science degree in Youth Development from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her educational background has helped her better equip youth with skills and opportunities required for them to effectively transition into adulthood and future careers in the STEM industry.

As an education professional, Elena is driven to support other educators and educational institutions to provide high quality STEM experiences to all students.
