Her work currently focuses on supporting math and science educators in content, pedagogy, and assessment, as well as facilitating Cognitive CoachingSM Foundations Seminars as an Agency Trainer for SCCMS. She is self-directed, dedicated, and approaches challenges as achievableproble-tunities. She intentionally cultivates her coaching capabilities and applies those skills in collaborating with individuals and groups, helping colleagues and clients build their professional capacity. Prior to joining S²TEM Centers SC, Margaret taught mathematics and language development to students with diagnosed learning disabilities at Sandhills School in Columbia, SC. She also taught mathematics at White Knoll Middle School in Lexington, SC. Margaret's classroom teaching experience spans kindergarten through eighth grade. Margaret received a B.A. elementary education from Clemson University, and later earned a middle school math endorsement. She earned her Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. Margaret is deeply invested in S²TEM Centers SC, as well as the larger SCCMS Community and strives to support all members as they purposefully frame a successful future for STEM in South Carolina. |
