My goal was to learn how to implement the mathematical practices of CCSS into the Montessori curriculum. This PD has given me clear and practical tools with which to do this. I'm excited! I have already used the activities with my 4th and 5th graders. They love the social aspect and having some control over how they solve problems as individuals. The Professional Learning Experience caused me to look more closely at the work I required form my students. I want students to connect what they're doing in real life situations.
